Lecturer (part-time), Gender Studies Programme, The Chinese University of Hong Kong
From Sept 2019 to Jan 2020, I taught an MA course “Genders and Sexualities in a Globalizing World” (20 students). The course looks at the connections and frictions in the transnational travel of knowledges and cultures of genders and sexualities. The photo shows a roundtable discussion in the course with our guest speaker from Sticky Rice Love, a sexuality education NGO in Hong Kong.

Teaching Assistant, University of Hong Kong
From Jan 2018 to July 2019 I was teaching assistant for a university-wide common core course “Sexuality and Culture” (120 students) at The University of Hong Kong. The introductory course explores a wide range of gender and sexuality related issues such as LGBT identities, female sexuality, sex work, and sexual health. I worked closely with students in small group discussions and mentored their final projects. The photo shows our booth for the HKU Common Core Learning Festival, where we displayed student-designed websites and designed interactive games with visitors.

Other teaching-related activities
Since my PhD studies, I tutored courses at Department of English and Gender Studies Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. I also mentored undergraduate students’ final year projects as a Graduate Research Consultant at the same university. Upon graduation, I briefly tutored a course “Socio-cultural Issues in English Literature” at the Open University of Hong Kong. The photo was taken on graduation day with one of my superviors, Prof. Michael O’Sullivan at CUHK.
